I am totally in love with London’s beauty, sometimes hidden and dimmed by the cast skies. But when the sun shines bright there’s nothing comparable to the Thames’ banks.

From Westminster’s to the Tower Bridge are the most amazing views and building, most people will say. Well, the biggest concentration of beautiful buildings is there, no doubt. But none of them matches the simple majesty, the impressive harmony, the massive beauty and spectacular power of the Battersea Power Station.

I won’t get into its history, remarkable facts, future projects or any other stuff. All has already been said.

I will just leave my personal impressions of it in two humble phone pictures. Two moments in my life, in this building’s life, in London’s non-stop life.

Night and day, you are the one.

Estoy totalmente enamorado de la belleza de Londres, a veces escondida y tamizada por esos cielos encapotados. Pero cuando el sol brilla con fuerza no hay nada comparable a las orillas del Támesis.

De Westminster al Puente de la Torre están las vistas y los edificios más impresionantes, dirán la mayoría. Y bien, es cierto que la mayor concentración de edificios bonitos está ahí, no cabe duda. Pero ninguno de ellos iguala la simple majestuosidad, la impresionante armonía, la apabullante belleza y el poder espectacular que desprende la Central Eléctrica de Battersea.

No voy a entrar a hablar de su historia, sus momentos álgidos, proyectos futuros ni nada similar. Todo está dicho ya.

Simplemente quiero dejar aquí mis impresiones personales en dos humildes fotos de móvil. Dos momentos de mi vida, de la vida de este edificio, de la vida incesante de Londres.

 Noche y día, tienes que ser tú.

Sólo tú, bajo la luna y el sol.

Día y noche. Noche y día.
