Panem et circenses. La fórmula es antigua, y funciona. Pero no se olviden de conceptos más básicos, como los de la física (ah, la ciencia, siempre se nos olvida para qué sirve!). Si revisan el concepto de límite elástico se darán cuenta de que cuando se aprieta demasiado, se acaba rompiendo; el globo adapta su forma hasta que explota; la caja de Pandora ya no se puede cerrar… Para que lo entiendan mejor: cuando haces pop, ya no hay stop. Así que no se lamenten ahora de haber desatado la furia ciudadana con la subida del transporte, ni se asombren de que no se aplaque esa ira retirando la medida.

¿Qué da mala imagen? ¿Que el pueblo se manifieste? ¿O que los gobernantes expriman sin escrúpulos al pueblo que les ha elegido? Luchad, amigos brasileños; por vuestros sueños, por vuestros panes, por vuestras vidas.

If you review the concept of yield, you’ll realize that if you press too hard, you end up breaking something; the balloon adapts its shape until it bursts; the Pandora box can’t be closed again… To make you understand: once you pop, you can’t stop.
